WHO ARE WE?

Metta Mitras (MM) is the youth division of Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society (KMBS). The name "Metta Mitras" comprises of two Pali words:
1. Mettā : loving-kindness, the Buddhist virtue of kindness.
2. Mitratā : good friend, noble friend, admirable friend. In short, we are your loving friends!

  • We are a bunch of energetic and vibrant youth sharing the same common purpose which is to:

    1. Connect and bring people into the circle of Dhamma.
    2. Relate Dhamma to daily life and promote self-development.
    3. Involve ourselves with the other Buddhist youth communities in the Klang Valley and forge great connection.
    4. Spread the joy of togetherness!

We welcome youths between 17 and 30 years old to join us!
