OBJECTIVE:

To propagate Buddha Dhamma through Dhamma sharing, workshop, sutta study, meditation class and retreat.

  • After His Supreme Enlightenment, Gotama Buddha walked throughout Northern India and preached the Dhamma tirelessly for 45 years. His first sermon was given to the five ascetics at the Deer Park of Isipatana, Varanasi. The historical event is called Setting the Wheel of Dhamma in Motion (Dhammacakkappavattana). The Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths and Noble Eightfold Path. By abandoning clinging and attachment due to greed, hatred and delusion, one can achieve ultimate liberation from suffering and attain the Highest Happiness called Nibbana.

KMBS refers to the Pāli Canon and Pāli School of Buddhism for Dhamma source.
