Bhante H. Kondanna Maha Thera, USA
Ven Heenbunne Kondanna Maha Thera is the Chief Monk of the Staten Island Buddhist Vihara, USA. Before arriving in the United States, Ven. Kondanna served as a teacher and later as Principal of the Bhikku Training School at Gangarama Maha Vihara, a premier Buddhist temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka. A versatile and multi-lingual speaker, he is an active community leader and organizer with an infectious enthusiasm for the education of children and youth.
