Bhante Pariyano
Bhante Pariyano, born in 1982 in Minsk, Belarus, began his journey in technology, graduating from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and working as a programmer in Belarus and Russia, with internships across Europe. However, feeling unfulfilled by societal norms, he transitioned to a spiritual path, becoming a vegetarian and engaging in yoga, carpentry, and meditation. His travels and interactions with spiritual teachers deepened his practice, especially in hatha yoga and Buddhist meditation.
In 2017, he went to Wat Pah Nanachat in Thailand for advanced practice and ordination and received full monastic ordination in 2018 at Wat Ban Suan, Phatthalung. Bhante embraced various Buddhist traditions, including Vietnamese Zen and Tibetan Buddhism. His teachings focus on the practical aspects of Dhamma, emphasizing emotional intelligence, well-being, and modern applications of Buddhist philosophy.
Bhante has led retreats in Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the CIS, collaborated with psychologists (CBT and ACT), and worked on Buddhist translations. He integrates neuroscience, cognitive sciences, and AI into his teachings, exploring digital well-being and advanced technologies. In 2024, he assisted in retreats in Malaysia, worked with Buddha Dharma TV, and instructed novices in meditation. Bhante aspires to establish a meditation teacher training center in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
